These plain tea biscuits for sale are a staple in our retail stores and another legacy from our Scottish baker from the 1940s.  When lathered in butter or Devonshire cream and topped with preserves or marmalade, they amply fulfill their name-sake duties. In addition they make the perfect strawberry or peach shortcake. Also ideal as a near-perfect base for creamed eggs or creamed chicken.
